Foundations for Jewish Living

Holiday celebrations, coming together for life-cycle events, prayer, studying the Hebrew Bible, reading Jewish literature and embodying Jewish ethical values are the foundations of living a Jewish life. In this course students will engage in lively group discussions and close readings of Biblical, rabbinic, and modern philosophical and ethical texts in order to gain a deeper understanding of daily Jewish living.

This course is appropriate for people at all levels of Jewish learning. Each week’s subject is independent, allowing people to become either regular attendees or drop in at any time. Please join us weekly on Tuesdays beginning in October.
