Brit Milah / Ritual Circumcision for a Boy
Below is a list of mohelim in Atlanta, people who perform the ritual act of circumcision according to Jewish law. You are encouraged to call any one of the recommended mohelim upon the birth of your baby. Please call Rabbi Glusman at 933-2740 if you have any questions or would like additional information. There are local Jewish doctors who are also available to assist with circumcision.

Babynaming Ceremony for a Girl
Our Clergy is available to conduct a babynaming cermony at your home or the synagogue. Please contact Rabbi Glusman to make arrangments. If you would like to conduct your own ceremony, Click Here for appropriate material and readings.
Share Your Simchas With Us

Temple Beth-El would like to share in your simcha and celebrate happy occasions with your and your family! If you would like for your special simcha to be included in Temple Beth-El's monthly bulletin, please send an email to our Office. If you would like an aliyah in honor of a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion please send an email to Rabbi Glusman.
Refuah Shlemah

If you have a name you would like to add to Temple Beth-El's Mi Sh'bayrach (prayers for healing) list, please send an email to our Office. The name will be added to our daily prayers for healing. If possible, please also include the person's Hebrew name. If a loved one is in the hospital and would like a visit from a member of our clergy, please contact our Office by calling 933-2740. It is important that you let us know as hopsitals no longer provide us with information about their patients.

Chesed Committee Temple Beth-El's Chesed Committee provides additional support by visiting Jewish residents at local senior living facilities such as Somerby, St. Martins and Greenbriar. If you know of anyone who might benefit from a visit by our Chesed Committee, please send an email to Cantor Gale.

Occasionally, burials take place at Brimingham's older Jewish cemetery known as the Old Beth-El / Knesseth Israel Cemetery. For driving directions, Click Here.

Unveiling / Monument Dedication
The custom in our community is that families conduct their own unveiling ceremonies. A monument may be unveiled at any time after Shloshim (thirty days). Resources and materials are availalbe to help you prepare for such an occasion. Click Here to download the material.
