Friday, March 8th, 12 - 1:30 p.m: Lunch & Learn at Temple Emanu-El, “Sacred Grandparenting: Raising Resilient Jewish Children in Interfaith Homes"
Grandparents are key bridges between Jewish identity and grandchildren—especially those being raised by one Jewish parent, whether single or intermarried. Lessons from the National Jewish Grandparents Study and intergenerational best practices will be discussed. RSVP to Monika at monika@ourtemple.org. Lunch will be served!

Join us after our "interfaith-friendly" Kabbalat Shabbat service for a conversation between Rabbi Henkin and Dr. McGinity. This conversation will highlight various ways of discussing the topic of Jewish intermarriage in America. Dinner will be Warren's famous fried chicken (vegetarian options available)!

Celebrate interfaith at Monday Night Brewing! We'll have vegetarian tacos, a cash bar, raffle and more. Dr. McGinity will also be giving the short talk "Faith Off." From Sex in the City to Jon Stewart, interfaith couples and parenting are omnipresent in popular culture. How does fiction imitate life and what can parents do to create more shalom bayit (peace in the home)? Thank You Books will be on-site selling copies of Dr. McGinity's work!
